Who we are looking for?
We're seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (or at the Technical Director/Principal Engineer level) to join our Water Group, based in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, or Gold Coast. You will play a pivotal role in the technical delivery of water and wastewater system solutions, collaborating with passionate and high‐performing teams.
Responsibilities
* Lead and contribute to the civil design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment plant civil works.
* Prepare and review technical documentation across concept, preliminary, and detailed design phases.
* Provide input across the full project lifecycle from planning and feasibility to detailed design, construction and commissioning.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
* Apply relevant design standards and use tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, 12d, and WSAA guidelines.
Qualifications
* A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
* RPEQ status or ability to obtain.
* 8 years experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design, ideally within a consultancy environment.
* Demonstrated experience delivering hydraulic and transient designs for treatment plants (water and wastewater) and linear infrastructure.
* Strong technical and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and client‐focused approach.
