This role is located at Collinsville Open Cut, approximately 160 km from Airlie Beach, Queensland, where metallurgical and thermal coal is produced for export.
About You
* Understand the impact of availability and reliability on mine outputs in a dynamic environment.
* Experience in supervising or leading a field or workshop maintenance team is highly desirable.
* A trade qualification as electrician, diesel mechanic (plant), fitter‐machinist, boilermaker or comparable field is essential.
* Familiarity with relevant legislation and experience in open‐cut mining operations.
* Ability to work in a team environment and deliver effective communication.
* Excellent problem‐solving skills.
* Creative thinking to challenge the status quo.
* Ability to coach and support the team to drive high performance.
About the Role
Reporting to the Crew Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for safe and efficient maintenance of mobile and field equipment in the open cut.
* Responsible for field, workshop and/or fixed‐plant maintenance activities (majority field base).
* Play a proactive role in driving continuous improvement of maintenance performance.
