We’re partnering with a large organisation within the essential services / utilities sector to appoint a Manager, Billing and Customer Platforms on a contract basis. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the end-to-end billing lifecycle (meter-to-cash), overseeing everything from meter data through to billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a strong customer experience. You will lead multiple operational teams across metering, data management, and billing, while acting as the business owner for the organisation's customer billing platform. This role also plays a critical part in shaping and delivering digital transformation initiatives, improving systems, processes, and overall service delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead teams across meter installation, data management, billing and invoicing Ensure accurate, timely and compliant billing operations Own and enhance the customer billing platform and associated systems Drive strategic initiatives and digital transformation programs Deliver continuous improvement across processes and customer experience Partner with senior stakeholders, vendors, and regulators About You Proven experience leading complex operational teams Background in billing, revenue operations, customer platforms, or similar Strong experience in transformation, change, or continuous improvement Highly skilled stakeholder manager, comfortable working at senior levels Experience in regulated industries (utilities, telco, financial services) is highly regarded What’s on Offer Immediate start with contract through to February 2027 High-impact leadership role within a critical business function Opportunity to drive meaningful improvements in customer experience and operations If you’re a senior leader who can step in quickly, stabilise operations, and drive ongoing improvement, we’d love to hear from you.
