Community Engagement Officer – Cherbourg Campus (Nurunderi)
Position: Community Engagement Officer at TAFE Queensland's Cherbourg Campus (Nurunderi).
Location: Cherbourg Campus (Nurunderi), Queensland.
This temporary full‐time position (Monday‐Friday, 36 hours 15 minutes per week) will continue until 31 December 2026 unless otherwise determined. The role reports to the Manager, Business Development.
Key responsibilities: act as a primary point of contact at the local campus and within the regional community, connecting the broader regional community to training opportunities at TAFE Queensland.
Salary: $92,262 – $101,137 (gross) per annum (AO4 classification level).

Mandatory Requirements
* Current Queensland Driver's Licence
* Current Blue Card or Exemption Card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement) to comply with the Working with Children Check Act 2000

Highly Desirable
* Demonstrated connections within the Cherbourg community, across different sectors
* Experience using a range of software systems, preferably for student administration management and customer service
* Vocational education and training experience or qualification
* Qualification in Business or similar
* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent
