Speech Therapist Role
We're seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to children and families.
About the Role:
* This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Speech Therapist to work in a dynamic environment, making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
* The successful candidate will have the chance to implement evidence-based approaches to enhance outcomes for children and families within early learning settings.
* You will be responsible for working collaboratively with centre directors, educators, and key stakeholders to observe, identify, and support the progression of children's learning, development, and well-being.
Your Responsibilities:
* Implementing evidence-informed capacity building approaches to enhance outcomes for children and families within early learning settings.
* Working alongside Centre Directors, Educators, and key stakeholders to observe, identify, and support the progression of children's learning, development, and well-being.
* Communicating and engaging regularly with families to support the inclusion and participation of their child.
* Building linkages with local services and streamlining referral pathways into and out of the centre.
* Attending and participating in Centre Team meetings and contributing to team development.
* Maintaining close liaison and attending regular supervision with the National Manager – Speech Pathology.
* Delivering professional development and contributing to reports and resources as required.
* Ensuring administrative requirements are met according to policies and procedures.
You'll Bring:
* Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years' experience.
* Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and coaching skills.
* Strong understanding of child development (birth - 5 years).
* Ability to document, analyse, and report on relevant key performance indicators.
* Desirable, but not essential, Hanen Learning Language and Loving It Training Certification.
