Our Assistant Store Manager roles are a gateway to the Store Manager role, providing an opportunity for our future retail leaders to learn and hone their leadership skills for appointment into their own store. As an Assistant Store Manager at Woolworths Supermarkets, you are at the forefront of delivering value to our customers and creating a great place to work where careers grow.
As a leader who cares, you will coach and support the Grocery Manager, Online Manager, and Nightfill Manager to deliver for our customers through a connected team. You will help lead the store with the Store Manager to provide a great place to shop and to support our team's growth.
We serve over 1,000 communities, so Assistant Store Managers lead large, dynamic teams in a connected and caring way to deliver a consistently good shopping experience for our customers.
What You'll Do
Demonstrate an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction by enabling a positive whole-store experience through Everyday ACTs - Acknowledge, Care & Thank
Make safety a top priority by ensuring correct processes are followed in store
Support a culture of collaboration across departments to create a great experience for our team and ensure team have meaningful hours
Support the development of the wider stores team and leaders to unlock their potential and help them achieve their career goals at Woolworths
Use data to understand customer needs and ensure store priorities improve both team and customer experience
Deliver key performance metrics and targets across Grocery, Online and Nightfill by working with Department Managers to ensure appropriate resourcing, training, and correct processes
Support strong community partnerships to bring value and connection to the wider community
Act on and support the Sustainability Plan to contribute to a better tomorrow
What You'll Bring
