IT Technical Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Specialist to provide Level 1 and 2 technical support to our retail stores, distribution centre, international branches, and internal teams.
About the Position
* Provide first- and second-level IT support to retail, DC, and head office staff.
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
* Deploy and maintain laptops, POS systems, printers, mobile devices, and more.
* Complete IT setup and onboarding for new starters.
* Monitor system health, perform software updates, and ensure security compliance.
* Manage Active Directory accounts and Microsoft Office environments.
* Liaise with external vendors and ISPs.
* Ensure data backups, antivirus, and documentation are maintained.
* Keep server rooms and storage areas well-organised and functional.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Level 1 or 2 IT support.
* Proficient with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Server environments.
* Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk or equivalent).
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
* Excellent communication skills – able to explain tech to non-tech users.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure.
* Experience with Linux and Active Directory.
* Knowledge of IT security best practices.
* Familiarity with retail IT systems and POS hardware.
