Multiskilled Operators (Grader, Excavator and Skidsteer)
Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a range of heavy machinery—such as trucks and trailers, excavators, loaders, and graders—depending on the job site's daily requirements.
Maintenance & Inspections: Conduct pre-start and post-operation checks, perform routine equipment servicing, and promptly report any mechanical defects or safety hazards.
Site Adaptability: Seamlessly transition from machine operation to general labor, civil maintenance, or other production tasks as directed by supervisors.
Compliance & Safety: Maintain absolute compliance with Work, Health, and Safety (WHS) regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and site environmental guidelines.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated competency and appropriate licensing/tickets for multiple pieces of heavy plant equipment.
Situational Awareness: Excellent spatial awareness and judgment to operate machinery on complex, high-traffic work sites.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and endure repetitive movements, long hours, and challenging weather or environmental conditions.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills.
Requirements & Qualifications
Licenses: Valid driver's license (Heavy Rigid or Multi-Combination is highly desirable).
Industry Tickets: Specific machinery competency tickets (e.g., Excavator, Dozer, Roller).
Safety Cards: General Construction Induction Card (White Card) or industry-specific safety inductions.
Experience: Proven experience (often 1 to 2+ years) in a similar multi-machine role within a heavy industry environment
