Are you a skilled Boilermaker ready to make an impact? At Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving operations. You'll work within a collaborative team fabricating and maintaining essential equipment, providing guidance to apprentices, and ensuring top‐quality performance. This is a hands‐on role with real responsibility.
This position will be based at Inkerman Mill in North Queensland's Burdekin region, known for its stunning landscapes, rich agricultural heritage and vibrant community. The region offers a great lifestyle with a warm climate, beautiful beaches and a range of recreational activities.
Your Role in Action
* Provide timely, safe and efficient maintenance services, tackling both planned and unplanned jobs, and ensuring high standards are met.
* Help assess the lifespan and performance of assets, and contribute to capital and maintenance budgeting for long‐term success.
* Provide guidance, set goals and offer on‐the‐job training to help apprentices and trainees grow in their roles.
* Engage in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations to keep equipment running smoothly.
* Ensure work orders, permits, timesheets and reports are completed accurately and on time, maintaining compliance and efficiency.
* Work within a collaborative environment, conducting inspections, identifying problems and implementing improvements to achieve the highest quality standards.
Your Winning Combination
We are looking for a candidate holding a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade, a current Confined Space certificate, a valid Safe Working at Heights certificate and a manual driver's licence. Additional certificates are a plus, but we also offer training and development for those who want to grow in the role.
