How will you make an impact?

You'll play a critical role in supporting our members during key moments, providing timely, compassionate and reliable claims support when it matters most.

The opportunity

Join our dynamic Insurance Claims team in Melbourne and become an integral part of our mission to deliver exceptional service to Hostplus members and claimants. As an Insurance Claims Coordinator, you will manage end‐to‐end claims processes, maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in service excellence. You will also contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our claim operations, helping to reduce complaints and enhance overall performance.

About you
* Significant experience in claims administration and case management.
* A proactive approach that ensures strong relationships are built and maintained with stakeholders, fostering an environment of trust and collaboration.
* Comprehensive understanding of superannuation and life insurance products, enabling confident navigation of complex situations.
* Adept negotiation and problem‐solving skills that ensure escalated situations are resolved promptly and professionally.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, articulating complex information clearly and concisely.
* Proven track record of contributing to operational efficiency and effectiveness, consistently meeting and exceeding performance targets.
* Ability to manage declined claims and complaints, demonstrating commitment to providing a positive claim experience and driving continuous improvement.
* Dedication to personal and professional development, actively seeking opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
