Protech are currently seeking experienced Quarry Haul Truck Drivers to support operations across a local quarry project. This role offers consistent local work leading into the wet season, ideal for operators seeking reliable short-term opportunities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Immediate start available
* Casual role with ongoing work
* Local quarry work – home every night
* Operating articulated haul trucks within quarry environments
* Day and night shifts may be required depending on production schedules
* Penalty rates, overtime, and allowances apply
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Safe operation of articulated haul trucks
* Hauling materials within quarry sites
* Conducting pre-start checks and basic maintenance
* Working safely around other plant, personnel, and site traffic
* Following site procedures and safety requirements
* Maintaining clean and efficient work practices
* Assisting with general site duties when required
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Valid Driver Licence with proven articulated haul truck experience (essential)
* Demonstrated experience operating articulated dump/haul trucks in quarry or mining environments
* Strong understanding of site safety and fatigue management
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced production environment
* Physically fit for site-based work
* Reliable transport
