About The Community
Jack River School is a Nursery to Grade 8 school with 500 students. The school is located in Norway House, Manitoba which is a thriving community situated at the picturesque tip of Lake Winnipeg and the Nelson River. The community is fully serviced with a hospital, shopping mall, two community recreation complexes, a post-secondary campus and daily air service.

What You Bring
* Bachelor of Education Degree and preferably a Master's Degree in Education or related field and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
* Manitoba Inclusive Education Teaching certificate or certification in progress
* Previous experience as a Resource Teacher
* Excellent understanding of current Manitoba curricula and differentiated instruction
* Knowledge and training in formal and informal assessment
* Familiar with appropriate educational programming
* Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset)
* Experience working in a northern community (considered an asset)
