Role Overview
We are seeking FACEMs to help lead and innovate in a dynamic clinical environment, providing high-quality care to our community while shaping the future of emergency medicine.
You will join a progressive and supportive Emergency Department at Maitland Hospital, working in a modern facility serving one of Australia's fastest-growing regions, enjoy working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional care to our community.
About The Role
* Provide high-quality emergency care in a Tier 2 ACEM-accredited training site
* Contribute to education, policy development, and telehealth support for rural sites
* Manage a diverse caseload including medical, surgical, orthopaedic, obstetric, and paediatric presentations (paediatrics (~25%))
* Participate in after-hours and weekend rosters
* You'll be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team with strong support from engaged senior management and have the rewarding opportunity to mentor and train junior medical officers and Emergency Medicine trainees in an innovative teaching environment.

About You
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or within 6 months of completion
* Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
