The Opportunity
We are seeking a Theatre Cleaner to work across our domestic services at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital. This opportunity will have you being a part of a brilliant team of people responsible for providing the highest standards of cleanliness to our operating theatres and other areas of our hospital as directed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness to all areas of the hospital but specifically our operating theatres
- Ensuring all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areasWorking in a friendly and supportive manner at all times
- Maintaining communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders ensuring quality clinical outcomes are achieved
Skills and Experience
The successful candidates will be punctual, reliable and with a commitment to genuine, friendly customer service.
- Previous experience in a hospital environment but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- Compliance with HACCP, Workplace, Health and Safety and Infection Control
- Have experience in cleaning services
- Be a team player and love to work within a large team
- Demonstrate attention to detail and take pride in your work
