About Site Managers
Site managers are key players in the construction industry, overseeing project delivery from initial groundwork to final handover.
The role involves strategic leadership, driving progress on-site, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Responsibilities
* Oversee all on-site activity from basement and structure through to completion
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
* Ensure compliance with company OH&S systems and relevant legislation
* Monitor and maintain project timelines and milestones
* Maintain daily site records, reporting, and documentation
* Collaborate with the Project Manager, Contract Administrator, and consultants
* Lead site meetings and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial or multi-storey builds
* Strong structural understanding - concrete, steel, and framing systems
* Certificate or Diploma in Building & Construction
* Demonstrated success delivering projects in complex environments
* Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, safety, and compliance
* Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
* Carpentry or trade background highly regarded
