POSITION SUMMARY

* Full time permanent | Wonthaggi | FWA arrangements available
* $96,249 per annum plus superannuation

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you ready to influence positive change and be part of a Council that values its people? This is your opportunity to step into a true partnering role where you'll help shape a workplace where people thrive.

Reporting to the Coordinator Human Resources, you will work closely with leaders and employees across Council to deliver practical and dependable HR support.

You will partner with leaders to strengthen people and performance management, support the full employee lifecycle from attraction through to exit and provide guidance on employee and industrial relations matters, including EBA and Award interpretation. You will also assist in resolving workplace issues and investigations, contribute to the development of policies and people initiatives, and play an active role in workforce planning and continuous improvement.

A BIT ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced HR advisor who builds strong relationships, communicates with confidence and enjoys supporting leaders to achieve positive people outcomes.

You bring demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role with sound knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and Agreements, along with experience in employee relations. You have strong interpersonal and organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail, professional integrity and a collaborative approach that contributes to a positive team culture.
