About the Role:
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will:
- Provide clinical teaching, orientation and mentorship to new graduates and less experienced staff.
- Support the Nurse Unit Manager and Educators in creating a positive learning culture.
- Assist with competency development, goal setting, and portfolio maintenance.
- Contribute to quality improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Design and deliver evidence-based educational content and training sessions
- Support clinical skill development and competency assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance learning outcomes
- Monitor and evaluate educational program effectiveness
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, and have an least 3 years (full-time equivalent) post-registration experience.
