The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Midwife to join our team on a full-time/part time basis. We are looking for an experienced midwife, who is committed to ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and women-centred care.
To succeed in the role as a Registered Midwife, you will need to bring a genuine interest in caring for women and their family through the various stages of pregnancy, childbirth and postnatal care. You will be an experienced midwife with excellent communication skills and enjoy working in an inclusive and vibrant environment that values and supports our diverse families.
Essential Criteria:
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
* Current NSW Working with Children Check
* Demonstrated experience working in a similar role
* Demonstrated ability to advocate for and implement individualised woman-centred care;
* Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
* Demonstrated professional manner when working with complex situations
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Flexibility to work a seven-day roster including night duty
* Basic computer skills
