Position
Swimming Pool Officer – Temporary, Full‐time – Hurstville, New South Wales.
Responsibilities
* Conduct inspections of swimming pools to ensure adherence to the Swimming Pools Act 1992, associated Regulations, and standards.
* Enforce legislative requirements and deliver certification and compliance services.
* Implement Council's Swimming Pool Inspection Program.
* Promote awareness and provide professional advice on swimming pool safety standards among residents and stakeholders.
What We Offer
* Temporary, Full‐Time – 70 hours per fortnight (12‐month fixed‐term contract, with the possibility of extension)
* Salary from $97,312.49–$112,750.82 per annum plus 12% superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate)

Qualifications
* At least 12 months experience as a Building Surveyor/Swimming Pool Inspector or similar role.
* Recognised tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying and/or Swimming Pool Certification.
* A thorough understanding of the Swimming Pools Act 1992.
* Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organisational and time‐management skills.
* Strong problem‐solving, conflict‐resolution and negotiation skills.
* Current Class C Driver's Licence.
