Availability: Must be available AM/PM, including weekends.
Job Duties/Essential Functions
1. Check cake order stand for special orders.
2. Check production schedule for daily needs and pull stock from freezer or cooler to fill merchandising area.
3. Remove product from pans.
4. Garnish and package baked cheesecakes, seasonal pies, and cakes, following the assembly instructions in the Cake Decorating Manual.
5. Place finished products on racks and transfer to cooler, freezer, or wrapping area.
6. Keep decorating area clean and free of debris.
7. Ensure correct date labeling is completed.
8. Follow proper Bakery Department safety and security procedures and standards.
9. Follow SSOP guidelines for cleaning and sanitation of all equipment.
10. Complete and comply with the 11 Commandments of Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification, and all safety training required by the warehouse and Bakery Department.
11. Assist with other bakery duties as needed.
12. Provide prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.
13. Operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery such as oven racks, cake slicing machine, wrapping machine, scales, pan dollies, apron glazer, cake scorer, spatulas, cake stamps, icing bags and tips, commercial dishwasher, knives, mixer.
Qualifications
* School Certificate or relevant apprenticeship (Trade Certificate).
* Experience in cake decorating or comparable field.
* Basic math skills.
* None specified for licenses/certifications.
