**About the Opportunity**
As a valued member of the Accounts Payable (AP) team within the CFO division you will play an important and active role in ensuring an effective control environment and support spend governance activities. You will achieve this with a strong focus on the quality of transactional data and quality assurance activities supported by your proficiency and expertise.
**Responsibilities include**
- Quality checks and processing of payments to ensure accurate and timely payment of suppliers, members, and employee reimbursements
- Monitoring and investigating system integration and transaction exceptions in AP systems and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Managing internal and external transaction queries and providing advice as well as developing and delivering educational material for AP processes
- Creation of reporting and data management to deliver visibility of spend, user behaviours and process performance in AP systems
- Identifying, developing, planning, and implementing continuous improvement and governance initiatives for AP processes.
- Contributing to Finance Control priorities through effective relationships and positive contributions within the team and the wider business
**What you'll need to be successful**
- Minimum 3 years' experience within an accounts payable/procurement/purchasing function
- Qualification in Business/Accounting and or equivalent experience (desirable)
- Understanding of financial principles and AP processes
- Understanding of SAP (legacy systems) and Concur (desirable)
- Analysis and data visualisation
- Experience with AP technology and high-level computer literacy
- Priority and time management skills
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Strong influencing skills
