City of Darwin Libraries is seeking a STEAM Programs Officer to lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of engaging STEAM programs that inspire curiosity and build digital confidence across our diverse community. This role sits within the Library & Family Services team and plays a key part in positioning our libraries as vibrant hubs of discovery and innovation.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of engaging STEAM programs that inspire curiosity and build digital confidence across our diverse community.
* Manage a team of STEAM Programs Assistants.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Oversee the use of emerging technologies such as AR, VR, and 3D printing.
* Foster inclusive learning experiences.
* Build capacity across the organisation and community.
About You
To be considered for this role you will be expected to meet the following criteria:
* Diploma level in a STEAM discipline or equivalent qualifications and/or experience
* A minimum of two (2) years' experience delivering STEAM related/connected programs and events with a focus on community outcomes.
* Current NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
* Possession of a Class C Drivers Licence.
* Flexibility to work at multiple library locations.
* Ability to work within a library roster, including some evenings and weekends.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role would also be desirable.
