About the Role
We manufacture premium steel roof racks and accessories for 4WDs and touring vehicles, supplying customers across Australia. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast‐paced workshop and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
The successful applicant will work within our production and fabrication team manufacturing steel roof racks and accessories in a busy workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
* MIG welding of steel components
* Production line fabrication and assembly work
* Operating workshop equipment and tools
* Grinding, finishing and quality checking products
* Maintaining production targets and workflow
* Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications & Experience Welder – Wedgetail Roof Racks
* Relevant trade qualification in welding/fabrication or equivalent relevant work experience
* MIG welding experience preferred
* Previous experience in steel fabrication, workshop production or a similar manufacturing environment will be highly regarded
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced production environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Reliable, punctual and able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
