ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Service Technician, you are responsible for repairing, maintaining, and supporting barcode printers and RF scanning terminals on-site and remotely, including hardware setup, diagnostics, and occasional after-hours work.
Your key focus areas will include:
* Repair and service of leading brand barcode label printers and RF scanning terminals
* Field service and in-house maintenance
* Phone and online remote support
* Wi-Fi system design, configuration and servicing
* Disassembly/assembly of mechanical and electronic equipment
* Troubleshootingand diagnostics of barcode label printers and RF scanner terminals
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Service Technician to deliver high-quality technical support and repair services across our Melbourne customer base.
You will have:
* Trade/tertiary qualifications in electronics
* Electronic and mechanical fault diagnosis skills
* Sound knowledge of computing, Windows and Android operating systems
* High standard of customer service
* High level of verbal communications & written skills
* Quality workmanship
* Minimum 1 years' experience in electronic servicing industry
* Experience in Data Network Principals and Mobile Data Capture Hardware would be an advantage
* Current driver's licence
