About the role:
This role is a clinical support role. It is the expectation from HammondCare that this role is carried out within a consultative and advisory context rather than an authoritarian approach. The role has a level of professional accountability and responsibility in line with the registration requirements as a RN qualified and current registration with AHPRA.
Roster available:
NIGHTS Week 1: Mon – 11:00pm – 07:00am & Week 2: Monday to Thursday 11:00pm – 07:00am 37.50 hrs FN
What will I be doing?
Advising and supporting the care delivery by the care staff
Work closely with management and clinical team
Educating and mentoring in clinical areas and processes
Consultative in case management and clinical decision making
Clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse
Implement and support a resident comfort focus
Roll out of LeeCare - the latest electronic clinical management platform
What do I need to be successful?
Must be available to work the NIGHT roster mentioned above
Have current AHPRA registration with ideally 2-3 years experience in an Aged Care setting
Value teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiative
Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs
Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people & you want to make a difference in their lives
Strong Admin and computer skills
