About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of Australia's largest health system by joining the statewide NSW Health Deployment Program in the Central Resource Unit (CRU).

We are looking for Registered Nurses in any of the following specialties:

* General Medical
* General Surgical
* Emergency Department
* Justice Health
* Community
* Mental Health
* Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
* Renal
* and Sub Specialties

The Registered Nurse will deliver person-centred nursing care in a variety of health settings, collaborating with individuals and multidisciplinary teams.

Where you'll be working

The Registered Nurse workforce will be deployed to locations across NSW Health from anywhere between two and 13 weeks, working a rotating roster including night duty while on deployment to support short-term staffing needs. You will have the flexibility to work for short periods of time, with the opportunity to stay longer and work across a variety of health settings when on deployment.

Targeted Questions:

* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (Ahpra) as a Registered Nurse.
* Provide examples of your professional experience in providing nursing care in the context of a multidisciplinary team and detail the complexities and challenges involved.
* Detail your ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care with a willingness to show leadership and embrace change in the coordination and delivery of care.
* Tell us about your recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in your speciality. In your response, include evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills.
* Current drivers' licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional / remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.

Additional Information

* This is an NSW Health Category A position. For more information, please refer to the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases policy.
