MBV is a member-focused organisation, representing over 6,000 members within the building construction industry across Victoria, including large and small builders across the domestic and commercial sectors, as well as apprentices, suppliers, and manufacturers.
As part of the MBV team, Master Builders Training Institute offers award-winning training programs delivered by industry experts, ensuring that our students receive top-tier education and skill development.
Position Overview:
We are looking for highly qualified contract trainers with current residential and/or commercial experience within the building and construction industry. The successful candidate will deliver training focused units of competency across:
* CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction
* CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and informative training that aligns with the learning outcomes of the unit of competency
* Utilise extensive industry experience to provide practical insights and real-world examples during training
* Assess students' competency and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development
* Collaborate closely with MBV team members to ensure training materials and delivery methods meet industry standards and learner needs
* Maintain accurate records of training, student attendance, and assessments
* Provide expert guidance on environmental compliance, including managing waste, minimising environmental impact, and meeting sustainability goals
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, best practices, and environmental standards
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
* TAE40116 Cert IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
* CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction or equivalent, and/or CPC50220Diploma of Building and Construction or equivalent
* Strong background in building and construction
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
* Passion for training and upskilling the industry to meet current and future industry standards.
* Ability to adapt training delivery to both face-to-face and online learning environments.
* Proven capability in initiating, cultivating, and sustaining relationships within the industry.
Additional Information:
* This is a contract position
* Training may be delivered at MBAV's facilities, on client sites, or online as required
