Salary: $150,000 + 12% Super

Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead operations across a high‐performing therapeutic care organisation supporting children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Performance
* Lead, motivate and develop senior managers and service teams
* Drive performance against KPIs, quality standards, and service outcomes
* Embed a high-performance, values‐led culture across the organisation
Operations & Compliance
* Oversee service delivery, governance, and operational performance
* Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, audits, and licensing standards
* Lead safeguarding, WHS, and risk management across services
Service Quality & Delivery
* Maintain high‐quality, person‐centred care for children and young people
* Drive continuous improvement through evaluation and evidence‐based practice
Strategy & Growth
* Contribute to strategic planning and organisational development
* Lead service innovation and identify recent business opportunities
Stakeholder Engagement
* Build strong relationships with government, community, and sector stakeholders
* Represent the organisation at senior‐level meetings and forums
Essential Criteria
* Senior leadership experience within health, social care, or community services
* Proven track record of managing large teams and driving performance
* Robust understanding of compliance, governance, and quality frameworks
* Experience supporting children, young people, or vulnerable populations
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills
* Commercial awareness with the ability to interpret performance and financial data
Desirable
* Experience in residential or therapeutic care services
* Knowledge of trauma‐informed practice
* Experience with regulatory frameworks (e.g. HSQF or similar)
Qualifications
* Relevant degree in Leadership, Business, Social Work, Human Services or similar
* Significant experience in a comparable leadership role
Additional Information
* Based in Underwood with travel required
