Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team in West Sydney. As an experienced maintenance technician, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge automated material handling technology and systems.
About the Role
This is a full-time position with a weekly rotating days and afternoons schedule, 8-hour shift pattern, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities. You will be responsible for electro-mechanical breakdown response and preventative maintenance tasks, as well as achieving agreed customer targets related to equipment and system downtime and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial equipment, including automated material handling systems
* Respond to breakdowns and resolve issues in a timely manner
* Collaborate with diagnostic teams to identify and troubleshoot technical problems
* Participate in project work to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding experience of industrial electro-mechanical equipment
* A mechanical trade certificate or tertiary education, with an electrical D license (reconnect/disconnect)
* General mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
* Computer literacy to drive SCADA and high-level control software
* Knowledge of industrial network solutions, such as Profinet and Profitbus
* Troubleshooting and fault-finding skills for PLCs, with some coding and programming experience desirable
