About the Role
Community Mental Health Service is committed to the provision of quality health services to the mental health community. The Holistic Early Intervention Team (HEIT) is a Youth Mental Health specialist team providing high quality services to young people (12 to 25 years) who are risk of or experiencing mental health disorders. The Team Leader is responsible for the clinical and operational coordination of an integrated multi-disciplinary recovery oriented, trauma informed, and evidence-based services for young people in collaboration with internal and external services within SLHD and with headspace lead agencies across Camperdown and Ashfield sites. The Team works with young people presenting with a broad range of clinical and psychosocial needs.
The Team Leader will build and maintain a service working in partnership that will lead to improved health outcomes including closely liaising with services within the Primary care setting and other Mental Health Services to ensure coherent, effective, safe, evidence based, and equitable service delivery.

Ideal Candidate
* Recognised qualification in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or Clinical Psychology and current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers.
* Extensive clinical experience in mental health, and health service management including demonstrated advanced level practice and supervision skills; service planning; implementation; and evaluation.
* Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
