Overview
The Project Officer – Accreditation assists the SA MET Unit in its support for accreditation of trainee medical officer positions across SA Health. In particular, the position assists Local Health Networks (LHN) by providing guidance, support and assistance in fulfilling their education and training obligations.
The position is also involved in the development of state-wide training networks, through coordinating and assisting in setting up governance frameworks and administrative structures. This will result in ensuring that the SA MET Unit remains responsive to both the demands of health services, as well as developments in the national postgraduate training context, in line with the SA MET Unit's mandate.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.

A 'National Police Certificate' NPC (also known as a 'Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check' NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment).

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
