The Role
Part-time, 3 days per week, 9am to 2pm (flexible) Office-based — Mornington
This is a client-facing role. You'll own the client relationship, guide strategy, and help our clients understand what's actually happening with their marketing.
Most of our clients are builders and tradespeople. They're experts in their trade but new to marketing. They're trusting us to lead them.
Your job is to make that easy: break down what we're doing and why, walk them through the process, set realistic expectations, and adapt the strategy when things change. You're the person they feel confident calling.
This isn't a role where you wait for direction. You'll need to take ownership, think ahead, and bring ideas to the table.
What You'll Be Doing
Client Management
* Own day-to-day client relationships
* Run monthly reporting conversations: presenting analytics, interpreting results, and recommending next steps
* Help clients understand their performance in plain language
* Develop marketing strategies aligned to each client's business goals
* Support clients through brand development and positioning
Strategy and Analytics
* Analyse performance data across social platforms and use it to drive decisions
* Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities across client accounts
* Guide content strategy based on what the data is telling you
* Stay across social media trends relevant to construction and trades
Content and Social Media
* Oversee content calendars and social media planning across client accounts
* Write and review captions as part of the regular workflow
* Brief and guide the internal creative team on content direction
* Help the team execute content strategies that are on-brand and on-brief for each client
What We're Looking For
Look, caption writing is part of this role. We're not going to pretend it's the most glamorous part of the job. But if you're a strong copywriter who enjoys the full end-to-end of running social media, you'll feel right at home here. We need an all-rounder who takes charge across the whole scope, not someone looking to hand off the parts they don't enjoy.
* Solid experience in social media or content marketing, agency background preferred
* Strong client management skills, you're confident, communicative, and people trust you
* Good with analytics and comfortable making decisions based on data
* Able to work with clients who are new to marketing, patient and clear without being condescending
* A self-starter who takes ownership and doesn't need to be managed
* Experience briefing or working alongside creative teams is a plus
* Construction or trades industry knowledge is a bonus, we'll fill in the gaps
