About The Role
Receptionist/Patient Services – join our friendly professional team at Lakes Radiology, part of the Carlisle Health Group. The successful candidate will work on a permanent or casual basis.
Specific Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for patients, providing a welcoming and professional experience.
* Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple imaging modalities.
* Register patients accurately and verify referral and billing details.
* Process Medicare billing, payments, and perform end-of-day banking.
* Maintain accurate patient records and complete data entry tasks.
* Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with Privacy Legislation and Carlisle Health policy.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, referrers, and internal teams.
* Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Background And Experience
* A caring and compassionate nature with a patient first focus.
* Previous experience in medical or radiology reception is highly desirable.
* The ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
* Passion for the healthcare industry with the interest for long-term growth.
* Highly personable with the ability to build and maintain rapport.
* Strong attention to detail and a patient-centered approach.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
