Position Profile
We are currently seeking to appoint an Aboriginal Liaison Officer – Karratha Health Campus (KHC) Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
* Provide a liaison service between Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander clients presenting to Karratha Health Campus and WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Pilbara staff.
* Provide direct welfare and health services to Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander patients and their families.
* Help empower their independence in their own health care and liaise with other government and non-government services and Aboriginal/TSI communities on issues relating to Aboriginal/TSI health and welfare.
