Description
This full‑time, permanent role is based out of Mount Barker and is part of the GreenInc grounds maintenance team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Senior Supervisor is responsible for the supervision, technical support and ongoing development of the landscape maintenance team working across numerous landscape contracts, servicing various government and major commercial clients.
In this role you will be required to oversee completed landscape projects during the defect period and other maintenance contracts, ensuring that our clients' needs and requirements are met.
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, develop, support and supervise the performance of the GreenInc maintenance staff
* Supervise and oversee quality output as per contract schedules on commercial landscape projects
* Implement plans and schedules as directed by the Operations Manager
* Ensure that planned work is completed on schedule and on budget
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
* Maintain and build new relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
About You
* Extensive hands‑on experience in horticulture, landscape, or grounds management.
* Formal qualifications such as Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent.
* Strong technical skills in equipment operation, maintenance, safety, and use of maintenance scheduling.
* Proficient in team leadership and supervision, including mentoring and performance management.
* Excellent oral and written communication for team, stakeholder, and client interactions.
* Effective problem‑solving abilities and initiative for workplace and technical issues.
* Demonstrated commitment to safety compliance and occupational health and safety standards.
* Strong planning and organisational skills, with experience developing work plans and managing resources.
* Customer service focus with a positive approach to liaising with internal/external clients.
* Proven ability to train and upskill team members, supporting professional development.
* Professional reliability, strong work ethic, safety record, and a focus on continuous improvement and learning.

2. Current driver's licence
3. White card
* A National Police Clearance (no older than six months)
* Evidence of right to work in Australia
* 100 points of identification
