Responsibilities
Provide practical, day-to-day safety advice and support to workshop staff, management, and projects.
Maintain, implement, and improve ISO***** Safety Management System.
Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, safety audits, and inspections.
Develop and deliver safety training and toolbox talks.
Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS legislation and company procedures.
Promote a proactive and positive safety culture across the organisation.
Requirements
Experience in a Safety Officer or similar role within Australia.
Proven experience in a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or similar trade-based environment.
Exposure to, or working knowledge of, ISO*****.
The ability to work autonomously, identify risks, and implement practical solutions.
Relevant WHS qualifications (Cert IV or higher is highly desirable).
