Project Finance Administrator – Geosyntec Consultants

Overview

Geosyntec values hiring experts who are innovative and eager to grow. This Sydney role seeks a motivated Administrator to manage finance administration, project lifecycle, and the office.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Support the office, project managers and senior management across all Geosyntec offices.
* Proposal and project set‐up.
* Assist with purchase order set‐up and maintenance, including supplier invoice submissions.
* Provide advice on project set‐up, tax requirements, invoicing and revenue.
* Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
* Revenue analysis and financial performance reviews.
* Project revenue analysis for PMs.
* Backlog and market sector reporting.
* Ad hoc reporting for senior management.
* Monthly invoicing cycle and timesheet reporting.
* Client purchase order reviews.
* Purchase order / expense reconciliation / supplier management.
* Inbox management – Geosyntec admin & personal.
* Site onboarding – medicals – travel requests – document control.
* General office administration.
Education and Licensure
* Minimum three (3) years of progressive project administration experience, preferably in a professional services firm.
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred; significant work experience accepted.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Experience in a professional services firm (engineering preferred).
* Experience with multi‐disciplinary project teams.
* Finance, accounting, or similar background.
* Accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Project administration experience.
* Invoicing experience.
* Knowledge of Infor system.
* Knowledge of JDE, Oracle, SAP, Coupa or other accounting software.
* Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
* Organisational skills.
* Ability to work across multiple time zones and offices.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
