Project Manager Position
We are seeking a high-performing and innovative Project Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project manage multiple road infrastructure projects throughout the project life cycle.
* Use technical knowledge, expertise and leadership to coordinate all relevant activities for successful delivery.
* Ensure all operational system procedures are followed to maintain high and consistent project standards.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements.
* Plan, assign, direct, supervise and coordinate work activities of team members.
* Determine the engineering requirements, including materials, critical components and systems, for temporary works necessary for project delivery.
Mandatory Qualifications and Conditions:
* A Washington Accord accredited four-year degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia.
* Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
* Valid Queensland 'C' class driver's licence or equivalent.
* Criminal history check due to access to sensitive data.
Desirable Requirements:
* A Diploma in Project Management and an accredited Frontline Management qualification.
* Previous experience in the road construction or maintenance industry.
Organise work priorities to deliver on broader organisational commitments. Initiate two-way collaborations by providing timely, proactive, non-technical information and advice. Promote integrity in the management and use of processes and resources, ensuring others have the necessary information and training. Evaluate options and develop appropriate plans to mitigate risks.
