Marine Restoration and Ecology Research Fellow
This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge marine restoration and ecology projects. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will work collaboratively with our research team to conceptualise, design, and conduct high-quality research that addresses pressing environmental issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement innovative research protocols to advance our understanding of marine ecosystems.
* Conduct thorough data analysis and present findings at conferences and workshops.
* Supervise and mentor research students, providing guidance on experimental design and project management.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate project administration and communicate research outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
* PhD in marine biology, marine ecology, or a related field with relevant experience.
* Demonstrated track record of publications and conference presentations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
* Strong time-management skills and ability to meet competing deadlines.
* Experience with computer systems and applications, as well as SCUBA diving certifications (e.g., PADI Scientific Diver, Dive Master, Instructor).
