Overview
Mining Employment Services is currently seeking an experienced Shutdown Logistics Officer for an exciting opportunity with a large-scale WA mining and resources operator. This opportunity offers exposure to high-volume shutdown coordination within a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Shutdown Logistics Supervisor, you will manage the end-to-end shutdown mobilisation process for internal employees and external contractors across multiple operations.
Qualifications
* Previous experience within a shutdown, mobilisation or workforce logistics role.
* Exposure to mining, construction or heavy industry environments.
* Experience booking flights and accommodation for site personnel.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* The ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* A solid understanding of mine site mobilisation and compliance requirements.
* Experience using INX and/or SAM Suite.
* Intermediate Microsoft Office and administration skills.
Position Duties
* Managing shutdown workforce requests and mobilisation requirements.
* Ensuring all personnel compliances are completed in line with shutdown requirements.
* Coordinating inductions, training and onboarding activities.
* Liaising with external medical and training providers.
* Processing mobilisation workflows through INX.
* Coordinating flights and accommodation using SAM Suite.
* Maintaining workforce and site manning lists.
* Managing daily task tracking and administration through SharePoint.
* Ensuring all compliance requirements have been met according to shutdown requirements.
* Supporting a strong safety culture while delivering high levels of customer service.
Experience
Previous experience working in a similar fast-paced, dynamic Shutdown environment.
