We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Concrete & Quarries North team, based in Milton, Queensland. With annual revenues exceeding $700 million and a well-defined 'Good to Great' strategy with a track record of success, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead performance in a fast moving sector.
Your day will involve:
* Partnering with operational leaders (and Boral 'Gold' team leadership) to identify and drive opportunities for growth and operational efficiency
* facilitating budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing P&L and performance analysis - ensuring financial accuracy and performance against targets
* Acting as a key support to the Head of Finance, challenging the status quo constructively, encouraging a culture of accountability to deliver on Boral's purpose of "Building Something Great" and values of Safety, Teamwork, Ambition, Accountability and Respect
What we are looking for:
* a solid track record in Analysis or Management Reporting (but not essentially) within an industrial, manufacturing or a resource-focused sector, or a large-scale business
* expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting - with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
* capacity to balance the priorities and expectations of finance and operations to ensure aligned decision-making
* ability to sponsor the delivery of operational outcomes to drive improved financial performance
* good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels
