Description
- Coordinate the maintenance and servicing schedules for fleet and plant assets.
- Maintain accurate records of asset utilisation, servicing, and compliance.
- Assist in procurement and disposal of fleet and plant equipment as required.
- Monitor asset performance and provide regular reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and organisational policies.
- Support the implementation of fleet management systems and tools.
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve asset-related issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for fleet and plant management processes.
Profile
A successful Assets Officer - should have:
- Previous experience in fleet and plant management or a related logistics role.
- Knowledge of public sector asset management practices and regulations.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in fleet management systems and general office software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to managing asset-related tasks and challenges.
- Relevant qualifications in logistics, asset management, or a related field.
Job Offer
- Hourly rate of approximately AUD $35.40 to AUD $43.60, depending on experience.
