What you'll be doing
* Supporting the end-to-end payroll process, particularly around complex issues that arise during weekly pay runs
* Conducting root-cause analysis on escalated payroll cases to drive accurate outcomes
* Assisting with payroll-related project deliverables and implementation activities
* Identifying, escalating, and mitigating risks relating to pay accuracy
* Acting as a payroll subject-matter expert to support consistent and compliant payroll delivery
* Working closely with the Enablement Lead and Product Owner to ensure the right resources are aligned each pay cycle
* Checking that all components of payroll processes are met each week and escalating any gaps
* Supporting Payroll Officers with complex transactions across weekly agile delivery cadences
* Maintaining confidentiality, data integrity, and strong governance across people systems
* Identifying continuous improvement opportunities to enhance payroll accuracy and team productivity
What you bring
* Solid payroll experience within complex or high-volume environments
* Experience with major payroll systems (SAP / SuccessFactors / Kronos highly regarded)
* Strong investigation, escalation management, and problem-solving skills
* High attention to detail and comfort working to deadlines
* Collaborative, proactive and team-focused approach
