Overview
Java role, 6 months with possibility of conversion to full-time
Location: Sydney
Responsibilities
* Hands-on experience on J2SE, J2EE
* Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
* Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
* Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
* Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
* Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
* Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
* Profound insight into Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc)
Qualifications
* Experience on Struts, SPRING, Hibernate, AngularJS, JSF & Web Services
* Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful
* Experience with Oracle
* Application servers like TomEE, WebSphere & Tomcat
