Key Responsibilities
* Manage procurement of grain-fed and feeder cattle across feedlot and processing operations
* Build and maintain relationships with feedlot managers and other industry stakeholders
* Align sourcing strategies with market trends and business objectives
* Collaborate with feedlot managers to maximise cattle performance
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain
* Mentor and support a high-performing team
* Analyse department performance using data and analytics
* Develop regular business plans that align with company strategy and direction
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role working with livestock
* Full working rights within Australia
* Tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or equivalent practical experience
* Proven leadership experience in livestock procurement or feedlot operations
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
* Proficiency in data systems and Microsoft Office
* Willingness to travel within Australia as needed
