Responsibilities
* Supporting the Lead Technician in the execution of on-site and workshop scopes of work; and, in the absence of a Senior Technician, providing support to the Base Supervisor with job allocation for the following day where required.
* Responsible for assisting all fellow employees in a supportive manner as an integral part of working as a team.
* Responsible to complete and maintain a daily diary.
* Responsible to maintain the cleanliness/tidiness in the immediate area of your work, both in the workshop and on site.
* Responsible to promote and market Furmanite services, products and business solutions.
* Responsible to comply with the Quality System for the supply of services and products to our clients in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000.
* Responsible to comply with Furmanite company policies and procedures, as wide-ranging from time to time.
Requirements
* With Fitter & Turner, or Fitter Machinist or other relevant skill.
* Trade certificate is highly preferable.
* Must hold a valid Australian Driver's License.
* Must hold a Construction Card.
* Ability to work Onshore, offshore and on remote site.
* Ability to work shift work.
* Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Good written and verbal communication in the English language.
* Computer literacy an advantage.
