Job Title: Maintenance Manager
An exciting management opportunity to join a renowned Australian agribusiness during a period of growth and expansion.
The Role
* Organize, monitor, and carry out preventative and reactive maintenance for a diverse range of horticultural equipment, including Colossus Olive Harvesters, tractors, and implements.
* Maintain accurate records of all service, maintenance, and repair work performed on each piece of equipment and machinery.
* Manage stock of required parts and supplies to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency while working within budgetary constraints.
* Support the maintenance team in their work and development.
* Regularly inspect, schedule, and perform routine maintenance on farm equipment to ensure proper working condition.
* Coordinate the installation and commissioning of new plant equipment in consultation with management.
* BUILD EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY PERSONNEL TO MEET PLANT AND EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS ACROSS THE GROVES.
* Ensure all farm and workshop equipment meet safety standards and regulations, providing proper training for workshop equipment.
* Develop a program for upgrading current systems within the workshop.
Requirements
* Prior experience in a similar role.
* Experience in a leadership or management position.
* Qualification in a maintenance discipline.
* Previous experience working onsite at a farm or in a rural area an advantage.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build effective relationships and communicate with diverse groups.
* Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
* Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build teams, collaborate, and develop good stakeholder relationships.
* A self-starter with initiative, efficiency, and independence.
* Ability to travel to different work sites as required.
