The role
As part of our Hardware & ILS group, the Logistics Engineer will be responsible for undertaking Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) and logistics engineering activities to support the Saab Systems Delivery Group Combat Management System (CMS), Combat System (CS) solutions and the accompanying support system.
Further, the successful candidate will:
* Support Senior Logistic Engineers to plan, manage and execute the delivery of LSA and logistic engineering activities
* Conduct LSA and logistic engineering activities including: Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) modelling and analysis Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Centred Maintenance Analysis (RCM), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Spares analysis
* Review supplier and OEM generated ILS plans, logistic support data, technical manuals and other ILS documentation as required
* Prepare and develop ILS documentation and plans
* Provide logistics engineering input into system engineering planning and HW design and implementation
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office, 9-day fortnight and part time (0.8 FTE minimum) will be considered for this role.
About You
Your skills and experience will include:
* Tertiary qualifications in Logistics Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent on the job experience
* ILS, logistic engineering, or supportability engineering technical experience
* Experience in Defence industry and its logistics practices and standards
* Sound experience in logistics and reliability and maintainability (R&M) engineering
* Ability to plan, schedule, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Ability to relate to and liaise with personnel both internally and externally with senior customer and sub-contractor representatives
Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level.
