Overview:
The Distribution Officer is responsible for undertaking distribution activities at a specific Local Health Network (LHN). This will involve the distribution and supply of goods, inventory and other specialist items for the designated LHN.
The Distribution Officers will perform one of/or a combination of the following activities on a rotational basis as directed to meet operational requirements:
* The receipt, storage and distribution of goods at the LHN.
* The scan, receipt and delivery of inventory to imprests and the creation of replenishment orders.
* Receive, put-away and replenishment of stock and despatch within the LHN.
* Liaising with Distribution Services Officer to source potential alternative items and suppliers for imprest products as and when required.
* Supporting team members in PSCM by undertaking any other reasonable requests as directed.

Work Locations:
Employees will operate under a cluster model, with placements aligned to one of the following clusters (not a single hospital):
* Northern (Lyell McEwin Hospital, Modbury Hospital),
* Central (Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, Glenside, SA Pathology),
* WCHN (Women's & Children's Hospital, SA Pathology, Royal Adelaide Hospital),
* Southern (Flinders Medical Centre, Noarlunga Hospital, Repatriation Hospital).

Criminal History Screening Requirements:
For All Clusters:
* A 'National Police Certificate' NPC (also known as a 'Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check' NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
For WCHN Cluster:
* A DHS 'Working With Children Check' (WWCC) is required for this position.
Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
Special Conditions
* Has or commits to obtaining a forklift licence within 12 months of commencing employment and maintain licencing throughout period of employment.
