At Luminary, we pride ourselves on having some of the industry's most talented individuals in our team, and we have a unique opportunity for a Digital Marketing Analyst to contribute to our client's success.
We’re looking for a curious, collaborative, and marketing-savvy Digital Marketing Analyst to join our Global Client Experience & Insight team. This role plays a key part in analysing and optimising our websites to deliver engaging, high-performing digital experiences that resonate with our global audience.
You’ll use data to understand user behaviour, uncover opportunities, and recommend enhancements that support marketing objectives and improve the client journey. Working closely with the Digital Product Owner, local and global marketing teams, client services, and sales, you’ll be part of a connected team shaping how we show up online.
You'll also play an important role in a major digital transformation project, helping us transition content to a new CMS while maintaining a seamless user experience and robust tracking.
This is a 6-8 month full-time contract position based in Melbourne, working in close partnership with one of our key clients.
The role will be based on a hybrid work model, requiring 1 day per week to be spent at the client's office, with occasional additional days as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Digital Product Owner and third-party suppliers to understand customer needs and preferences.
* Define product requirements and objectives with the Digital Product Owner to manage the product/enhancement roadmap.
* Conduct user experience research to identify user needs, pain points, and preferences.
* Optimise web experience for better user engagement and satisfaction by working closely with third-party web development teams.
* Implement A/B testing and multivariate testing to evaluate the effectiveness of different product features and designs.
* Continuously monitor and improve website performance, including page load times, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility.
* Analyse web product performance using various analytics tools and prepare detailed reports on product performance, user behaviour, and website traffic.
* Support the special CMS migration project by:
* Assisting in the process of moving content off one CMS and onto the new CMS.
* Collaborating with relevant teams to ensure content is appropriately mapped and transitioned.
* Ensuring that analytics and tracking setup are consistent and accurate across both systems before and after migration.
* Participating in testing and validation efforts to confirm that user journeys are not disrupted during the transition.
Your Background and Experience
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in web analytics or product analysis.
* Background in marketing with a strong understanding of digital strategies.
* Proven success in analysing and optimising web products.
* Experience in Financial Services is advantageous.
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field.
* Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data and providing actionable insights.
* Proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
* Comfortable working with global stakeholders, including occasional early morning or late evening calls
We are looking for someone with:
* A passion for data and analytics.
* A strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
